WildCat VP 880PRO - Gaming?

I have just recieved a Wildcat VP 880pro video card. I know it's intended for 3D rendering, but will it be able to handle gaming graphics effectively?

Could anyone kind of tell me where this card would fall if it were a gaming card (is it equal to a FX 5600 etc.)

FX 5600.. it's an ok card probably about equal to a 4600 or a 4400

Yeh the card will be awesome once you re-write a driver package to accept 512meg of ram instead of 256 ;) The drivers only just came out with a 256meg fix

heh, in nvidias recent offical driver release, it has 512 mb :D

Err, I think you mean ATI's driver, so I assume this was sarcasm? Wildcat is a 3DLabs card, so they would naturally use different drivers that would utilize the card's memory.

Are you saying it IS a good video card for gaming, or is it poor for gaming?

I agree, virtually no one has this card in their gaming rig, so since you have one it's up to you to test it. Go post some benchmarks.
