I have a X1900XTX with CU900 cooling on it couldn't be any more happier and then I had an idea...

I was thinking of maybe I should go with a Thermalright V1 Ultra and mount two torandos I have lying around. But before I do that, will it be too heavy for it to be feasible, after all i don't want to break the $500 dollar card doing this...

If I get enough aye to this I'll do this "Extreme Air Cooling" in maybe two weeks.

If they're too heavy, you could always buy the 70 CFM Thermaltake fans :) You can mount one tornado, but two, I'm not too sure about that...

The one thing to be aware of with the thermalright, is that it's VERY wide. As in, it doesn't even fit properly into some cases because it's so wide because of teh heatpipes.

If it fits, it's very good. Also, do not use the shim that it comes with.

Any comments about the fan? if I'm to mount two torandos on it, wouldn't it be too heavy? My case is wide enough if it can handle Sycthe Ninja :)

If you'ore only using the X1900XTX, and no other pci's, you shouldn't have a problem.

Make sure to mount both fans so they blow toward the fan.

That's not very extreme.
I think two Tornadoes would be "extreme air cooling" and no need to crap on my thread, thanks.

get some slot protector thingers to help support the weight
I'm not too sure what you mean by this, my google-fu isn't strong today, mind point me at a link or somewhere I'll see what you're telling me to get?

Much thanks.

Yes, someone please answer this question, I CANT find the product!

They're black "arms" that support the weight of the card

For the record, extreme cooling generally means sub-ambient. Shouldn't this be moved out of the extreme cooling section?
