You have to admit that controlling a Roomba with a Wii remote sounds like it could be fun. Spend hours making your friends and family think the Roomba is possessed!

One person who did just that is a young man named Chris Hughes, who hacked the Roomba vacuum cleaner so that he could make the rugbot do his bidding. And he's posted the modified source code online so that you can do the same.

That is pretty neat though. Using the remote for other purposes than gaming is interesting... I want to see what else people will use it for.
 
How is it any better than using the remote that comes with the roomba?
