The wireless connection tests fine in the Wii settings area.
Is anyone else having consistent problems?
We tried and tried all night to no avail, and so we busted out the router's settings menu thing and poked around in there.. The only thing that made it work, was I set it to channel 10. Weird how it could make all the difference but it did.HellMaX said:If you have a hard time connecting, either it's their server or it's on your end.
Lots of words is that the Wii is quite susceptible to interference, so if you change your wireless router's broadcast channel to 1 or 11 (default for all routers is 6) it should help having a better connection.
I coudn't connect to the Wii Shop before I changed that on my router, now it's fine and working everytime
And cheap! Seriously it shouldn't cost more than $10-15 when it does eventually come out..BioPort said:they need to get that ethernet adapter out, and with a quickness.
Cheaper than buying it for like $20+ on GBA or DS (those 'classic' release ones..)Xaeos said:Is it just me, or don't they have all the games up in the shop that are listed on the website? I don't see Gunstar Heroes, or any TG16 games... is that just me, or are those on the way?
In other news, I really...really hope they either reduce the prices of VC games. Asking me to spend $5 on NES Pinball is a big stretch. I would rather they change NES games to say 200 points, Super NES/Genesis/TG16 for 400-500, and N64 for 800. Considering that none of the VC games have been enhanced with say... multiplay over internet, I think these prices are fair.
Ahh well.

And those were horrifically overpriced, too. It's hard to justify $5-10 on a game that's had literally zero enhancements when Microsoft's selling great new indie games for the same price range (Outpost Kaloki X, Zuma, Cloning Clyde, Small Arms, et al).n1ce_hat said:Cheaper than buying it for like $20+ on GBA or DS (those 'classic' release ones..)
That small arms game rocks! I can't wait to have a bunch of people over so I can get some 4-player action going on that.. Such a good deal IMO, because it's very fun and cheaper than Nintendo's $50 versionerwos said:And those were horrifically overpriced, too. Well with 10 games a month coming out, i'm sure they will try release all the games people will actually buy, not just junk to fill up the market.. When they mentioned Mario RPG was coming, my heart skipped a beat..roz1281 said:hoping they release Earthbound
