Wii on Acer 2423?

I'm goign to be purchasing the Wii when it comes out and was hoping I could figure out a way to hook it up with my Acer 2423 24" LCD monitor. Question is, is this possible? The Acer has VGA and DVI inputs on it. Is there any way, or will there be a way to hook up a Wii and run it on this monitor without degrading the quality? I was looking through my boxes for my 1950cf and 1950xtx and i have component cables and some kind of dvi/component adapter. No clue what for.

I'm also interested in this. Component >> VGA cables are the way to go apparently. Not sure how well it'll work though.
