hey guys i'm back at it again with trying to find out another way to get wifi to the basement.

i've tried powerlink adapters and now i'm looking for other alternatives. i'll probably sell my AC router too while i'm at it.

so what do you guys suggest? i've looked into amplifi HD and would see if anyone had some input.

or i'm just going to buy 50 ft of cat5 cable and run it along fro the modem to the AC router and just do that.

I have to agree with the above.

If running a cable is totally doable... then there's no reason to not go that route. Give yourself the most reliable setup - and you can't get any more reliable than a physical cable.
