My girlfriends dad is trying to use a Wireless Netgear Router to share a DSL connection with a Windows 98 machine.
The router is connected to the DSL modem.
His Windows XP machine is directly connected to the Wireless router with the Cat5 cable and the internet connection works fine.
The problem is the Windows 98 machine with the Wireless USB 2.0 adapter cannot connect to the internet. The connection is there between the USB adapter and the router but I am not sure how to configure the internet connection on the WIndows 98 machine. XP is easy.
I looked at it breifly and I know it could be a number of things I was just hoping someone has already gone through something simular to this.
