Hi all,
I am familiar with wireless bridge and repeaters using DD-WRT... but I've always repeated the same network.
Now what I want to do is use a single router to do the following:
Act as a wireless bridge for ethernet devices to to unprotected SSID-1
Repeat unprotected SSID-1 to protected SSID-2 on a different band/channel
I am in a condo which has free wifi in the clubhouse for residents... I can get signal on one side of my condo but not the other.
I want to bridge the signal I can get to my ethernet devices and also repeat it on a different SSID so that others are not connecting through my equipment.
I think I'll need something with two radios for this and I was considering the WNDR3700... but I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks
EDIT: I know this is a trivial problem if I were to use two routers... I'm curious about single-box solutions.
