Well I have this really wierd "problem" OK so when I turn on my computer (Abit IP35 pro 8800GTS G92) , I get no input signal to my main monitor (22inch) hooked up to DVI until i enter windows... on the other hand I have another monitor hooked up to dual screen, which is 15inch hooked up through a VGA->DVI adaptor, and it shows the POST, BIOS, etc. fine...

And it doesn't matter where I plug both of them in, it's always the same result...

Why?!?

I have the same exact problem. My monitor is a 19inch vga so I use the dvi adapter. When I boot up I dont see anything I would have to boot it up with my monitor unplugged then once it gets to windows which is about 20 seconds i plug it in and it works. If I use a crt I see everything fine.

If you find out the answer pm me i like to know too. Its not really a problem just a hassle sometimes

im having the same situation here friends, if any of you find a solution can you post it here or PM.....thanks

WOW more ppl have this problem. I thought it was just me. Ive asked so many times on other forums they told me it was my lcd screen because its not dvi native so it might not support it that well.

no but mine is DVI native, and to add to that the other screen that shows POST is a LCD too, but VGA...

Question for you: What happens if you only plug in the DVI monitor and keep the DVI/VGA analog connected monitor off of the 8800GTS? Meaning, powering up with only the DVI monitor hooked up.
