Hey guys, another PSU questions for the experts on here.
I just picked up a Rackmount Chassis and it came with a Zippy MR3-6460P power supply ( link here: http://www.stayonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=995 ).
The MR3-6460P unit seems to be a cage / chassis for 3 hot-swappable smaller ( smaller PSU model MIN-6250P - link here: http://www.stayonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=978 ).
It says on the MR3 unit that it has 50amp on the 5v and 32amp on the 12v. The MIN-6250 unit each says 25amp, 16 amp. I noticed that is exactly 1/2 of the MR3 unit's claim. I m wondering if that means the MR3 unit combines two of the MIN-6250 unit and have a third for back up / redundancy?
First time I work with this type of PSU. Pretty cool stuff but new territory for me.
Any help is good.
Thanks
