Ok here's the story, I've got an XBMC downstairs at my apartment. I run an ethernet cable upstairs to my media server to watch all my shows on the tv in the living room. I run a bittorrent client 24/7 on this server with an RSS feed catching all of the latest episodes of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report and dumping them into a folder that the XBMC can see.

What I want to do is set something up that limits the number of files in a given folder, let's say five. The idea is so that each time a new file is downloaded by bittorrent and drops the file in the proper folder, the oldest file in the folder is automatically deleted to keep the total number at five. The reason I want this is first of all to save some space, and also to keep only the most recent episodes and have it as automated as possible. I am running Windows XP.

Any ideas? Thanks

I have done something similar, but it has been forever and i'm drawing a blank right now, if i have time i may try to draw something up for you.
