Hi everyone,

Hope all is well. I'm looking at this http://www.digitaltigers.com/zenview-duo24pro.asp to purchase for a client from Digital Tigers. The company seems reputable, although there aren't many reviews about them.

He is previously using a 19'' (non-widescreen) at work, and now wants a setup similar at home. However, one of the concerns I was worried about was is 24'' wide dual screens -- too wide? I was hoping to ask someone else here for expertise. He normally does a lot of reading and text work, but does like to watch movies at the same time.

I'm really apprehensive to recommend this, even though, the client does appear to want to go toward this path. I'm not sure if there is such a thing ... but is this setup .. too wide?

The distance between the desk and the actual monitors itself is not very large. If it was a large desk, that would be something I would be much more comfortable with recommending.

Many many thanks,

Jeff

EVGA has a system like that, you might want to check it out. I have personally used the EVGA setup and think it is very nice.

Don't think you can have "to much" monitor lol

Does it ever become a hassle though? 24 dual widescreens just seems ... slightly over the top at times. And I'm really worried about buying it and regretting it.

Does anyone have a lot of experience with dual widescreens? Thanks!

IMO, there's going to be a shift to multiple displays - Eyefinity is banking on this and from what i've seen and heard, there's strong potential - not just for gaming.

The only thing I wouldn't like about this DigitalTigers setup is that it's not three screens !

Why not just get two 24 inch monitors and a monoprice/ergotron arm. Seems it would be a lot cheaper than $1400.

Also, if one screen fails on the zenview setup you have to send the entire thing in for repair. If you build your own setup then you are only out one monitor at a time.

Dual widescreen is king. 4 pages laid out side by side enables a lot more in the term of multitasking.

My 2 cents.
