When i build a new system i spend a huge amount of time tuning testing. finding the edge then the stable setting's. now after 3 months it doesnt like my settings anymore. had to back of the blck clock 5 mhz? room temps are constant and fans are always kept clean.
 
Could be anything...heat fluctuation, voltage instability...could just be too much for the board to handle now.
 
not sure why. happened 2 times with my sig rig. increasing the vcore couple of notches worked. and I’m fine with that since the vcore was and still relatively low.
 
I think that this is a result of power fluctuations (like we are discussing in that other thread). Get a UPS with AVR and I'd be willing to bet that these problems go away.

I was having a run of stability problems and went back to stock settings for the CPU for now. Next step is going to be to either reinstall Vista or dump it for Win 7. This way I can do a clean install and de-crud the system since I made a lot of changes over the last few months.
 
Not saying it IS the board, but no way to tell long term effects of OC'ing. Some boards take it well and some....not so much.

Are you running GPU2 as well? My sig rig has had a rash of bad GPU2 WUs that have caused (on occassion) my entire rig to BSOD.

It could be a WU that stresses the rig more than others.

Honestly, it is difficult to determine root cause because there are so many variables involved.
