Just what the title states, why would I want or need VT (Virtualisation Technology)? How will it help me with my computer? Will it give me any beneficial speed improvements? I am looking at picking up an E4300 for a cheap Conroe system to replace my FX-53 system.

Unless you use VMWare or some other supported virtual computer program, it's as useless as EM64T on 32-bit Windows.

Cool. I guess the next question would be, will I see an improvement over my aging FX-53.
