i have a 6800nu with 61.72 drivers... anywyas

when i overclock from 325 mhz core to 390 core and 700 mhz memory to 800 memory and test it, its fine (people achieve these values easy.) and then hwen i restart, the new 390/800 settings are saved... however, when i restart again, my 390 core is saved.. but the memory setting goes back to 700.. does anyone know whats wrong?

Set your 3D frequencies first -> Switch to the 2D tab -> Switch back to the 3D tab -> Test settings -> Tick the Apply these settings at startup -> Click Apply -> Restart

If that doesn't hold it then just download RivaTuner.

90% of the time that wont work bro...youll need a third party app....for some reason coolbits is only good for testing your highest OC in games with out rebooting...once you find it use riva tuner or something to make it stick

Is rivaTuner what everyone uses to keep oc settings locked? Is there anything better?

Coolbits 2 keeps the core overclock on my GT but resets the memory speed on reboot... I'm downloading Riva Tuner now to test.

Coolbits has ALWAYS saved both my core and memory settings as long as I "test settings" and check the box that says "Save settings at start-up". Those saved settings are always there at reboot.

I'm having this problem too. Just installed my BFG GT, 61.76's, and regular coolbits. The core and mem set back to default when I reboot AND, this is really wierd, my monitor reverts back to 60hz :( I don't know if the 60hz is from the stupid XP thing or the new vid card, but I never had that problem with my ti4200.

You know you very might well be correct. I'm currently using a 9600 Pro, but when I used
Coolbits, I had an Abit OTES Ti4200 and that might be the difference. I can only speak from a Ti4200 experience.
