• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

In the past you had the join date shown for each user. Now you don't display when each user joined the forum.

I prefer this date being shown easily next to the user's name because it shows you how long this particular person has been on the forum for. Its just a nice thing to have for many reasons, and also shows to other people that you've been ative on the forum for a lot of years.

Yes I know you can click on the different user and see when they joined, but thats just a PITA.

So why not add this feature back?

IIRC, it was taken out in part due to the database load generated (each piece of info like post count or join date is another SQL lookup)
The other reason is that people would use it as an excuse to flame another member for being new, disregarding what they were saying not on the merit of their words but by their join date

That and it gives a cleaner more streamlined look. Probably won't change anytime soon, so you'll just have to click one more time to see how long someone has been registered.
