Why no B660 mini-ITX motherboards?

I'm looking to build a 12100 or 12400 rig but there are no economical mobos out there. DDR5 is too expensive.

Mini-ITX offerings are always later on in the pipeline after ATX and other form factors. The reason for this is that mITX is an afterthought. ATX and E-ATX boards make up the bulk of what people purchase. In contrast, companies like ASUS and MSI barely break even on the cost of R&D, production and marketing of mITX motherboards.

That make sense. I've seen some info on a Gigabyte board that looks good but haven't seen it for sale yet. Thanks for your reply.

yup, they always come last, if at all.

That one nvme slot is a deal breaker. I have the B550i AM4 and it has pretty much everything you need as well as 2 m.2 slots. I paid 179 but I think it’s about 199 new now.
