Why is Windows 7 control panel "Installed RAM" blank?

Windows 7 RC installed on a motherboard with 4 occupied DDR2 slots. 2X2GB + 2X1GB = 6GB

Task manager shows 6142MB as the Total Physical Memory on the "Performance" tab.
I expect this.

However, the "Control Panel/System and Security/System" is blank for "Installed memory (RAM)". I don't expect this.

Why is it blank?
What could be causing this on this machine?
 
It's an incomplete OS, simple. The issue will be addressed and rectified by RTM... and you already know how much RAM you've got, sooo... :D
 
Worked on my PC, lol it only scored a 1 but it worked. That score is probably correct for that system, it's only slightly above the minimum system requirements.
