Why is Lian Li cases so expensive?

Raikiri has it just about right, however it is the PA 120.3 and the gpu blocks are a pair of Stealths. ;)

The G70 was a treat to work in.

I said PA 120.3 :p

Oh, and a Canon 5D? I'm really quite envious :(

how is cooling effected in lian li cases? It only has like 1-2 60mm fans in the front and a 80 mm in the back. There are option for top and side but it's not included when you buy it.

I bought an Antec Tsunami a few years agao. People praised it and said it was a "great case", compared to a few Lian-Li cases i've worked with after...the Antec is a turd wrapped up in Christmas paper in comparison. Everything about the case is cheap and flimsy except for the front door.

Of course...this is my belief which may not correlate to yours.

I've had my PC-82 for five years now. Very durable and has survived numerous upgrades to the innards. It's the little details that set the Lian Li's apart from the CoolerMasters and Antecs I've worked with. My only grip with my LL is that the all aluminum, grey finish makes it hard for me to upgrade my DVD burners as I need drives with a matching silver bezel.

Why is Lian Li cases so expensive?

Is it their air flow or the materials that is so much different than other brands such as Antec or Thermaltake cases?

B/c its expensive to get translators who can speak good Engrish to write the manuals and packing copy.

Aluminum is a lot more expensive than steel. Better materials, better quality.

Buy one and you'll probably never go back.

They're so easy to work with. Not too small/cramped & Not overly big.
Just the right amount of space.

And their beauty is in their simplicity.

I have the silver version of the case you linked, and I love it.
The 120mm fans are quiet & provide great airflow.

FYI its should be:
Why ARE Lian-Li cases so expensive?

Get their Silver Bezels! http://www.lian-li.com/product/product06.php?pr_index=82&cl_index=2&sc_index=6&ss_index=38&type=a

I have the black dvd bezel for my case. My only gripe about it is that you cannot see the activity led with it installed, But its no big deal.

haha, please don't take that too literally :D

Order a Lian Li case and see for yourself. The side panels (at least on the one I had) are thick enough to stop bullets. Every other brand I've dealt with (Thermaltake, Antec, and many other cheapos) has really flimsy panels, but Lian Li panels you can kill someone with. One swift blow to the head and they're down. And that's why I love Lian Li cases. Because you can kill people. :)

If its any consolation, I got one of my lian li cases (own 2) at a police auction, when I went to pick it up, I opened it all up to make sure it was in good condition, for the most part it was with only one imperfection.... There was BLOOD RESIDUE on the inside of the back side, cops assured me that it was sanitized and that that was the only area where they couldn't get it cleaned off....

They were telling the truth too because when I took a stab at cleaning it off I couldn't too, you can still see the outline. Apparently it was involved in a murder case, they wouldn't tell me why it got bloody.

Pic's in a min

Edit: Seems I did a better job clraning it then I remember :( I aplogize, both my cases are black so maybe I switched the back case panels, but I doubt it, I'll check my other one when I dig it from storage.
