I have a newly acquired athlon xp 2600 mobile chugging along at 2.6 ghz at 1.8 volts on an abit nf7-s 2.0 at 200x13. I have a dtek spiral block with a c-systems CSP 750 pump with a dtek procore heatercore with 2 120mm aluminum evercool fans in a push pull config. I am using arctic silver ceramique paste and a 1:20 mix of zerex racing coolant and distilled water. After getting a stable overclock i ran 100x loop of cpu tests in Sandra with my max temp being 46.5*C (i saved the results to a notepad file) My case temp and room temps have remained the same going from 28-32C case temp idle to load. All of a sudden my pc is idling at 45-48*C and load at like 50*-53*. The waterblock is making good contact(I have checked by pusing up against it and checking temps) and i have not changed anything else in my rig. I will post pics up as soon as I take them. Why would my temps rise so much??????

It could be either bad contact, a bubble in the loop (if you refilled) or a difference in temperature measurement (you didn't say what the system was before).

Did you change your bios? Different bios versions sometimes display different temps.

Abit fiddled around with the temp sensor on the NF7-s quite a bit through bios revisions.

I just found out that my case bezel is blocking so much airflow that it is making my temps increase insanely idle and load, like 4-6*C  . I ran Sandra again and could only get 46* C max with the case bezel off. I guess it's time for some choppin. I have a generic chieftec tower btw.
