Why hasn't someone made a program like ATi Tool for nVidia cards?

I mean having a program like ATi Tool that was made for nVidia would be pretty sweet. You can throw out the stupid detect optimal frequences and have the program OC slowly while checking for errors.

Does anyone know if a program like this will ever be made..?

I wouldn't trust a program that tests my card for 4 seconds and calls it safe, would you?

Thats why you overclock manually and call it a day.

Have you used ATi Tool ever? It's way better then just setting the clocks and playing a game.

Haven't used it but is it the one that shows a furry cube with the scrollbars for the clockspeed shown at the side? Then you can see in real time if it's artifacting or not?

Would be nice if there was one like that for nVidia cards. How hard can it be to make another version?

I use ATI Tool and Rivatuner at the same time with my 6800GT. I overclock with Rivatuner, then check for artifacts with ATI Tool. You can still run the artifact fury cube thing with an Nvidia card.

I used ATI Tool when I used to own the 9800 Pro but it's artifact testing tool wasn't very useful. The kind of load it was able to put on my BIOS flashed and overclocked card was lacking.

So I just used Far Cry and other games to test my overclocks. It's more reliable testing with real games anyways.
