Didnt they use to be bad ass? Now they make a bunch of junk sound equipment...

I have a hercules 9800pro that will be going in a clients computer. Works pretty good

if they're the same company that marketed the KRYO2 cards.. they lost a lot of money with them... it was really too bad, because that PowerVR tiling chip was a decent idea, it just had a really crappy execution. it worked fine in the dreamcast :)

Ya... I always heard the Kyro2 was a decent card for what it was. I heard people were looking forward to seeing some higher end stuff from them.

I used to have their Geforce2mx card. Nice card. Nice package too.

They couldn't keep up, they were with leadtek and gave the customer what they payed for and actually bolted better components to them for some customization. Hercules got yelled at and stopped doing it, eventually leaving the business because what in the way of innovation did they have over another company that provided the same features for $50 less? Nothing, they left the business

Leadtek still provides the customers what they pay for... kinda.
They put custom coolers on them for stock.. does that count? ;)

I had a Hercules Geforce 2 GTS 64MB AGP card that I used daily for two years. It was great. Decent overclocker and better than average stock cooling.

I remember thinking that I would never buy a card but a Hercules due to there better than average cooling.

I have an EVGA!

Off topic... I just did a VERY stupid thing.

I cut out this side panel UPSIDE DOWN! OMG

eVGA makes some rock-solid cards, no bad experiences with them, and they're service is great (just slow, that's all)

Sorry about to hear about the side panel, but I pulled a similiar maneuver awhile back... just pass it off as "artistic creativity"
