Why does this card have two power connectors?

Just wondering because it doesn't say ANYTHING about the yellow connector in the manual.

The prurple connector is the normal molex connector but what is the yellow?

Deffinatly looks different than what is on my 9700 pro card.

Actually I believe that is an aux. input for the rage theatre chip. Do not apply any power to it and no it will not power a fan.
 
I didn't notice the arrows myself. :p

Anyways. yeah it's for VIVO. Front mounted Vivo ports to be exact, they seem to have the cable in Europe for it.
 
looks suspiciously like an AUX audio cable to me, to be plugged into an optical drive. if not that, floppy power plug :p

and yeah...that yellow plug is for the vivo stuff.
 
what sort of Vivo stuff and where do i get it? i noticed this on my X850XT-PE and had no clue as to what it is.

Welp, I installed the card and now my damn bluetooth DiNovo doesn't work for jack...

I currently have an Antec 430watt PSU... This WAS sufficeient to run my 9700pro... but with the x850pro could this cause my keyboard and mouse to suddly stop working completly?

Finally got at the software loaded for the new card and decided to try FarCry, the games started to pixelate and then there would be blue outlines almost like a forcefield around all the charaters...

Current specs of computer: p4 2.53ghz. 1gb memory, 100gb hd.. I had the settings turned up to HIGH... I thought for sure this card was good. And actually looking back when I would auto detect on my 9700pro it would pick everything high to medium.. with this x850 pro it picks the majority of things as LOW? Why would this be?

Definetly get a stronger power supply.

Although that one should be good enough... it sounds like you had it for a while, maybe it's seeing it's last days.

Would the Antec HE 500 watt modular PSI be ok?

I've had this computer for I'd say 2-3 years...

I'm just so pissed because my bluetooth isn't working at all... arg! And the fact that this card should be an upgrade some what I didn't notice any difference in the games...
