Why does my PC turn on by itself sometime?

I have the Qpack and replaced the stock PSU with an FSP 480watt.

My problem is that my PC sometimes turns on by itself for a few seconds and then turns off.

Please tell me what some of the possible problems could be and how I can fix this?
 
Short? Check behind the front power switch ...on the Qpack the little metal prongs that protrude from the on switch can touch the metal of the case. I remember having to put electrical tape there on mine to prevent it from shorting out.

How long does it stay on? Does it POST and boot the OS?
 
because you touch yourself at night.

j/k, I'd say a short too...I had a machine that wouldnt turn off because of shorted pins.
 
It turns on for a few seconds, then turns off. I've put the electrical tape behind the button as you suggested and it seems to be fine now.

BTW - I don't DL porn on this computer and I work for the CIA.
