• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Why does everything have an underline under it?

I noticed today, when I was trying to read a member's name, that, everything has to have an underline. Under user names, forum headings, forum topics...

I was wondering why?

Umm... because they are live links? I hope that doesn't sound too simplistic. ;) You can adjust your browser settings not to underline links if you prefer.

Haha. Yeah. They are links you know. Things you can click on on the internet are typically underlined. Even when you move your mouse over the menu bar (User CP, FAQ, New Posts, Search, etc.) they will become underlined.

Because you touch yourself at night.

this link isn't underlined

Wow, someone let their grandma use their account. Never seen the interweb before granny?

ps Hi Lethal!

links are supposed to be underlined so you can tell they are links. if they were not underlined and even if they were a different color (links that are not underlined and the same color as the surrounding text are fascistly evil) one might assume they were a heading or something

I dont remember where it was but some forum/site had it set up to un-underline/colorize links when mouseovered. Very strange to hold mouse over a link and have all indication its a link dissappear...

I have been to a few forums that do not underline usernames or forum headings, I did not think my question made me a fool or an idiot, but, I guess that is why this forum is not well-known as a good source of info on anything, everyone is quick to throw stones and to bash, but, hey, whatever, right?

stones are [H]ard.

seriously, i just thought you grew up on a Mac. they have prettier ways of identifying what is clickable
