• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Why do the forums require ActiveX?

My firewall blocks all ActiveX, so I can't see the forum without turning blocking off.

Seriously tho, activeX should be phased out. it's the scum of the web, and it's the cause of all malware on the web.

I'm useing Firefox and i dont think it has any support for ActiveX. The forum displays fine for me. What is it that you can't see?

I agree, activex is crap, but I don't think hardforums uses it. I don't believe there is even a browser compatible with my operating system that supports activex.

Same here

I don't have ActiveX enabled in IE and I have no problems with the forums here.

Now, the Flash on top, OTOH, would not be missed.

The flash player I could install is not entirely stable, so I won't.

(Getting rid of that window should be doable, but I haven't dug up how yet.)
