I have the 2405 and I'm very happy since it has not only the best specifications but also S-composite for my xbox 360 and composite for my dreambox (sattelite tv receiver). But now with the 3007 model which doesn't have these features, is there any solution to have these devices connected to this monitor?

How the hell does that answer the man's question? HMM???
Can someone answer Tzh on work arounds for the connections to the 3007? I for one would like to know.

Ah you are right, I miss read the last part of his post, I thought he was looking for a different solution, i.e. different monitor that would do what he was looking for...

As for what he is really asking, I am going to say no. at least one that is cost effective and does not degrade the display quality in a bad way... It would be better to look for something else that has what he is looking for...

Why would you want composite video for your 360? Why not just get a HDMI switching reciever for everything? I know there are a few brands that can scale any video input to HD via an HDMI interface.

my bad killernooodle. I have 360 connected to the component input of dell 2405 so the picture is great. This switch receiver you are talking about, can take both composite and component signals ? I can't understand how I will get all these to 3007. If you have any link to show me what you mean it will be a great help

merry christmas to all of you

I think he wanted to say that you can connect the back of the 37" westinghouse with the front of the 3007, and voilà! problem solved ;)

ARGH! I wish nvidia had an all in wonder. :(
Isn't there another add in card or something that could help me? How about an hdmi to usb adapter?

I've been wondering when people would start using Westinghouse as computer monitors. They have super fast 8ms response times, good native resolution, they are huge and cheap, and highly available.
Haven't seen them in Canada yet.

or VIVO's. I'm sure nvidia has VIVO's out there. You can also try TV Tuners. They also allow you to put Composite inputs in.

I suppose Dell didnt want the 30" LCD competing with their line of LCD TV's hence the removal of all ports other than the DVI port.

Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me but I can see where they would think it would matter..
