WHS in ESXi or Hyper-V?

Has anyone put WHS in a hyper-v server 2008 or ESXi box?
What issues if any did you run into?

Also do either of these virtualization products offer direct disk access?
 
I'm running mine through Hyper-V with direct disk access. Works like any other VM.

I have 3 physical 1 GB drives made available to it. Just make the drive off-line to the primary OS, and assign them in hyper-v.
 
With Hyper-V server if I were to run an XP VM could it access the GPU for CUDA and whatnot?
 
i am running a VM WHS in VMware Server 2 and player.... what is the advantage of physical disk over virtual?

maybe should look into hyper-v.

OP please post when you have a working system with hyper-v and WHS. definately interested
