I don't know of anyone is aware, but It looks like Asus now has a Carbonite style backup servers that has a WHS add-in.

www.asuswebstorage.com

I'm trying it out now. It's fairly simple. and at $4.99 monthly, $39.99 yearly, or $69.99 for 2 years, it's a pretty good deal for unlimited backup storage.

I only sub'd for a month to test it out, but we'll see how it goes.

This is a v1 add-in only. There is no Vail add-in as of yet.

, it's a pretty good deal for unlimited backup storage.

The catch here is that you can not physically send them a few TB of data because of bandwidth limitations.

I get about 1MB/s on a good day with comcast. So for a 1TB that would be over 90 days of continuous uploading. That is if Comcast does not terminate my service.

i use crashplan with my WHS vail beta 2 build.... seems to work well.

i have 50gb backed up... pictures, music and documents... no movies or tv is backed up to the cloud due to bandwidth and data caps

I'm planning to back up similar stuff. Pictures, Music, Docs, and some video files. No recorded TV or Movies.
