I saw on their forums that FlexRaid 2.0 beta is now public, it seems to be a major update, and also supports WhS 2011. I know a some people here run FlexRaid on their massive servers, but is anyone using the newer versions?

I'm going to convert my pc to a fileserver soon and would like to use it.

Im using it on my WHS2011 virtualized thru ESXi 5.0 and it has come quite a long way since the first beta build of 2.0.
The storagepool was unstable but it was fixed in beta 7 thats available currently.

Im using Snapshot RAID currently. I would definately not hesitate to recommend it.
For static data like movie collections/music, etc, Snapshot is usually more than good enough.

FlexRAID has quite a bit of cool stuff going for it, so I say, test it out:)

I run it, and since all my data is static, I just use snapshot. There's more to it than that (obviously), but that's all I really need at this point in time to keep my junk semi-protected.
