Yes you have, you just didn't understand it.

Lets try not to jump to conclusions here and provide some form of blanket statement as to what I perceive.

I perceived microstutter in the early days of SLI.

I do not perceive it in modern SLI setups.

Having said that my FPS always equals or exceeds my refresh rate of 60fps.

Last SLI setup I ran was a 7600gt config. It worked well but I didn't get the gains I wanted to for the price. I haven't looked back to dual card setups since then.

There's a difference between experiencing and perceiving, and I don't disagree with the above statements.

i used to be single GPU only guy then some suprise attack of stupidity made me order pair of 6850 for CF - after a month i was back to my GTX470.

I'm still remotly tempted to test SLI if it will be better.

To be fair, I did give up buying titles on release day. However, I can not blame that totally on the fact that good SLI/Xfiire drivers can sometimes take a month to show up for some games. Dependent on how popular they are, whether Nv and/or AMD have had a shot at optimizing it prior to release, and whether or not the graphics engine being used is mature, or properly suited to Xfire/SLI, of course. Waiting for the complete version of games, and typically waiting for a Steam sale sometime after that, has just as much to do with my waiting.

I have been running SLI since the gtx260, and I love it.

I stepped up to a gtx470 from my 260sli and it was great but then I added another 470 for that extra oomph and ran that for a while. I recently traded in the 470's for a single 670 and couldn't be happier. It's about 10-15% faster than the 470sli and I plan on adding another 670 when they hit about $200.

I feel that SLI'ing one lvl down from the current best card is the best bang for the buck, but I never buy 2 cards at full price I always get 1 and then when they are about half price I will get another. Only upgrade to a single card if it can beat your current SLI setup. Then when it starts to be not enough get another.

I now run a 120hz monitor so SLI 670's will be needed. Right now though at 60hz a single 670 is more than adequate for 1080p.

Been running dual GPU setups for a while, I'm one of those people who need high FPS and maxed out settings.

Ran 8800GT, 9800GTX, Radeon 4870, Radeon 4890, GTX450, GTX 460, Radeon 5770, Radeon 5850 all in dual-card config, only issues I had were with the 8800GT and 9800GTX. All my other set ups were impressive with no noticeable micro-stutter. Currently running a single GTX670.
