I unplugged my 120GB Hyper X drive today and the plastic that surrounds the SATA data pins detached from my SSD. Should I RMA, or can I repair this myself?

I had this happen. I (lightly) super-glued it back on, knowing the risk of losing my warranty, and have been using it to this day without issues. I am unreasonable, in that I would rather just buy another one than deal with an RMA, so I knew the risk and was ready to eat the $120 (at the time).

If you can "re-assemble" it and have it work, then gingerly disassemble it again and glue it, you might be able to get past the RMA.

There is no real risk of losing the warranty since it's probably already lost.

I successfully repaired the drive by breaking another L connector off of a 20GB SATA HDD and sliding the pins into the SATA cable with L pin inserted.

It's ghetto, but it works.
