anyone else have raid0 raptor 36gb 2 drives,

i just wanna know what si-soft sandra gave you for a transfer rate. plz and thankyou ;x

I used to have 2 36gb in RAID0, I got something like 92mbps in Sandra. Keep in mind that Sandra is a crappy drive benchmark, and IMO 2 36gb Raptors are loud!

i only get 62mbs ; ; lol supposivly 80gb 8mb cache 7.2krpm gets 50mb/s says si-soft sandra.. anyone have a suggestion for hard drive test?

Sorry, should have added that I defragged with O&O "access" defrag before the test. Without defragging first my score would have ben around 80K. A good drive test is HD TACH, I'm not sure about the others. For me, if it feels fast its fast. I swapped my raptors for a 160gb Seagate, and felt only slightly slower than the raptors. I am ordering 2 74gb raptors as soon as my next paycheck comes in, as I have heard they are a bit quieter and perform better. Im wasted, so if this post makes no sense, sorry.

got the HD TECH, great prog. gives diff controllers with each HD

lol my raid controller is kinda on the bottom of the food chain :( only 1 below lowest marked one. i still enjoy my drives, they do rock, but i was curious on speed thanks guys.

Defrag.

Copy files from each to eachother and see how fast it goes.
