I am building a new PC soon and I am thinking one of these wifi-capable mobo:
- ASRock extreme6/ac
- Gigabyte Gaming G1 wifi
- Asus x99 deluxe

Looks like there's a lot of good words on ASRocks in general but I don't have experience with ASRock. Any opinions on my choices here? Thanks in advance.

I have the GA-X99-UD5 Wifi and the G1 is that on steroids. There have been some minor BIOS issues but I think most of them have plagued all x99 boards. I haven't had any major issues and it overclocks well. If I were to do it over again I'd be okay picking up the same motherboard. Just be sure if you do go that route, update the bios as soon as you get it.

I have had issues more recently with my Asus X99 Deluxe, it worked nearly flawlessly until a highly recommended BIOS update (one to fix a potential catastrophic failure) was installed.

Just food for thought.. the WiFi performance of the Deluxe is phenomenal. It maintains a solid 1.3 Gbps, much better than Asus' own stand alone PCE-AC68 which has erratic performance even when in the same small room as the router.
