I know with Nvidia eVGA by far has the best service and warranty. What about ATI? Which should i get?

So far Sapphire, Connect3D, and Powercolor are the best priced.

Some people are fortunate enough to get 1.1ns ram on their 1900XT. I'm not sure which version it is whether it's Saphire, HIS but go for that. You can possibly flash to XTX. :D

I say cheapest one. It really doesn't matter because they are all based on the same reference card. I've owned Sapphire and Connect3D, never had a Powercolor before though. Go for the cheapest, or if you're worried about warranty go with the best one of those.

i see that Powercolor now offers a lifetime warranty like eVGA and BFG, does this apply to OEM cards as well you think?

i have seen ALOT of them come with 1.1ns so far from all different brands. Definately not just HIS.

I can only speak from personal experiance But these are the cards I use and they are fast. As for memory being 1.1 I have not seen anything differant on them. These have a limited life time warranty the same as some NV cards. I have had to replace 4 cards in the last 4 years going back to the Ti 4600 days and had no problems with replacements.

3 of those 4 cards were infact Ti 4600's Here's the link

Sapphire makes the cards for ATI.

If HIS and other companies sell cards that seem to be BBA then they are all made by Sapphire.

If you are buying a card from HIS, then it is originally built by Sapphire and then HIS puts in their logo on the heatsink or use their own heatsink and sell the card.

So get a Sapphire card.

I believe HIS is the only company that offers 1.1ns RAM on their X1900XT's.

Not really.

Sapphire build the cards for ATI so indirectly HIS cards are built by Sapphire.

My Sapphire X1900XT has 1.1ns memory.

The 1.2ns memory are found in X1900 Crossfire Edition cards. Local magazine showed pictures of a HIS X1900 Crossfire card with 1.2ns memory. I am sure my X1900 Crossfire Edition has 1.2ns memory too.

So X1900 with 1.2ns memory are mainly the crossfire edition cards.

No. PowerColor retail package only is covered by the new lifetime warranty policy.

B33

i checked their forums and someone else asked about that with another card and the mod said the warranty is the same on OEM and Retail. Im pretty confident i wont do any harm either way...
