Which widescreen monitor to get for $400?

I play lots of games, watch movies, and browse the internet. What monitor would be good for me?

Sorry if this topic is kind of vague.
 
I have the Acer AL2216wbd and I'm very happy with it. Cost $399 then, now $329 on Newegg.

There are lots of recent discussions on this monitor and others for you to research on this forum.
 
I've got a pair of Dell 2007WFP panels and I think they are fabulous. I paid $373 each with free shipping about 3 weeks ago. They are now down to $359 on Dell's site.
 
just got the acer 2216 and i really like it, i did a lot of reading and really wanted a 24" but not with all the little problems they have, so i dropped to a 22" and this imo is the best choice for this size monitor
