Dual Tbred 1700+'s @ 2.26ghz @1.7v on Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW-P
Dual Evaporative towers that are 4" diameter 24" tall with a 120mm fan on each...Danger Den Maze4 Waterblocks...One tower per processor...1 pump per loop...What would be the best pumps for this application? It's gotta have a decent flow rate and it's gonna be pushin water about 2.25 feet in the air...I'm looking at Eheim 1250's...Is this a good choice or does anyone have any other suggestions?
 
For dual pumps, I think the best deal will be mag 3s. That will save you a good deal of money, plus they will run the pressures you will be facing much better.

You wont have to worry about noise and reliability, they are silent and built like tanks. They are rated at 350 gph at 0' head, but will run up to 10.5ft head. I believe they out perform the 1260s by a good margin.
 
i just got done looking them up...indeed very impressive...and for what i was gonna pay for the eheim i can get the mag 5's and still save 20 a pump...
 
Hope you have some custom air ducting making all that hot air coming from those towers go outside or into the attic cause that'll be like a sauna in your room bro. with one non-overclocked cpu, in winter it's 80 degrees in my room.

i live in a room in the basement with 2 outside walls and one without insulation...everything will work out alright...plus we have central air...and since i have a drop ceiling also, running some ductwork wouldn't be a problem...but i'm still having a hard time believing it's 80 in your room in winter...what are the summer temps?

In my room it's around 78ish right now , rest of the house is a little bit lower , around 75 or so. For the summer we use the good ole AC , Arizona it's a fun place to stay in the summer :(

I second that!
 
That system is going to get awfully nasty awfully quick. Bongs are not clean nor pretty after the first week or so.

The maintenance of having to refill the thing once a week and clean it once a month is far outweighed by the sealed systems.

Give it a think.

And a 1700+ at 2.25 GHz doesn't need a bong.
