Which Video Card

So, I have an XFX 4770 on backorder through mwave and I'm currently running an 8600gts. The question becomes... Should I cancel the backorder and go a different route or just hang on until the back order is filled? Price is no more that $140 and I mainly game on it (usually Age of Conan... i know not popular w/e) I'm looking for an upgrade b/c my 8600gts artifacts HARD! on 1680x1050 on low settings and I want to run much higher.
 
I agree with FoxhoundOp another solid choice would be the 4850 or the GTS 250 Depends more on what games you favor and if they run a little better or smoother on nvidia or ati hardware both would be solid choices. Additionally depending on your power supply and motherboard you may be limited if you want to go sli or crossfire.
 
The power supply is a 1000w crossfire and sli stamped, so I'm not worried about that... the board is a GA-EP45-UD3P. The problem is the $$$ I can slap down on it right now... $140 just about taps me and I saw the 4850 and I'm probably drinking the 4770 koolaid, but it looked from http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3553&p=3 and saw the score difference in the game I actually played that's what I was building off of.
 
I'm actually starting to check Superbiiz along with Newegg now. They are starting to have really good specials on a regular basis (like that HD 4780).
 
Awesome deal, even tempting to shoot for two of those for the bedroom machine!
