Since Doom3 is nearly upon us, I was wondering if anyone knew which Video card maxes out a Pentium 4 2.4B w/ 512MB PC2700 RAM?

I am not upgrading my CPU or Mobo any time soon, so I was wondering which video card would not be total overkill for my system.

Bump

I was gonna post the same thing since I was debating whether to spend the 3 and half notes on one of the newer cards or go with a 9800 pro....

Ah, the hell with it. I want 1280x1024 (or wide screen 1280x720, hopefully).

I ordered a Power-color Radeon X800 Pro VIVO, in hopes the flash BIOS mod will work to unlock the four piplines to turn it into an XT.

Then I'll have to upgrade my CPU too. :D

Not true. SOME vivo x800 pro cards can be flashed to an XT. I do agree he should have gotten a 6800 GT though.
