Which VGA?

HD6950 and unlock it to an HD6970, if you can. It'll be faster than the GTX570 if you do, more efficient, and $50 cheaper.
 
They're so close that you can buy any of the three and either way you got your money's worth.

If you want more for less, get a 6950 2GB that is a reference card, and unlock it to a 6970's performance. This will cost you $260 after MIR for HIS or more for Gigabyte ASUS or MSI. XFX is $290.

If you're willing to spend $350 the 570 and 6970 are both good. They're both identical in performance at stock, while the 570 has better overclocking potential and PhysX, and the 6970 has more RAM, and will only be slightly slower when overclocked.

So overall: for <$300 get a 6950 and unlock it, for ~$350 get a 570.

By the way what's your rig, what resolution is your display?
 
i have a Samsung SyncMaster T220HD, and max resolution is 1680x1050,so which is better? i saw the 6970 has more ram, more mhz, more clock, which are the advantages, which is better for the future?
 
The 6970's power is wasted at 1680x1050, get a 1GB 6950, a 6870, or two 6850s in crossfire.
