1.1 is recommended and you may have to google how to remove it and revert back to 1.1...
if you are not able to uninstall it. You may need to ignore the warning of "...it might affect other applications that are installed" and force it to uninstall if you can.
 
I think I have 1.1 installed on this machine, but I don't use CCC. I just download the latest display drivers, install them and install an older (5.11) control panel. That, coupled with ATI Tray Tool gives me all the same options as CCC without CCC.
 
The way I do it for evaluations is to use Windows Update and update to 1.1, then I go back into Windows Update and let it do the SP1 update for 1.1, then I go back in to WU and let it do the security fix for 1.1, then I go back into WU and let it install version 2.0.

So I run with 2.0 and CCC.

I use 6.3 with control panel...dont need .net

Any advantages running 2.0 over 1.1 Brent?

pretty much what i did too

2.0 here
 
2.0 silent install using SVCPACK method is teh own.

You can indeed have both versions working in harmony, though some programs might use the 1.1 version which doesn't have the dynamic cache doohicky that supposedly improves performance, IDK. On the flipside, those programs that would use 1.1 instead of 2.0 probably wouldn't start up without 1.1 installed, so...
 
Hi:

As I understand it, .Net Framework 2 is not an upgrade of v1.1
They are 2 separate software packages and install into separate folders on
your O/S.
I've been running v1.x since it came out.
I've been running both v1.x and v2.0 since v2.0 came out.
I always use the latest Cat drivers and no problems.

I can't vote since the option I use isn't listed.
