i am thinking about switching to the console for my thinkpad as i've just reformatted it and want less memory being used by F@H. when i start up it's around 300MB but after i close F@H, it's at 240MB. would using the console use less memory or is it the same? i am thinking of installing the console but without the EM3 program thing. thanks.

Its pretty much the same difference in regard to memory usage. Generally the console is prefered as its slightly more compatable with game/video card settings.

If you're concerned with memory usage you can download the newest console client and restrict the available memory.

well i tried the console and you can adjust memory, but it recommends you pick 64MB as that's the normal amount used by a WU or something. i went back to the graphical.
