Which TV? Best for a non-Techie

My friend wants to output game video from his computer (C2-6300, 2GB, BFG 7600GT, Intel DG33BU) to a TV, and hasn't bought the TV yet. This isn't my cup of tea. Anyone have any recommendations on a cheaper 32" LCD that will allow a PC in w/ HDMI, and the audio can go through the headphone jack if necessary. I'm looking for a minimum of hassle if possible, as he's not a techie. 720p is just fine. Output will be fullscreen from Windows Media Player, nothing special.

I'm even up to changing the video card to another Nvidia if necessary (he won't touch ATI, too many bad experiences in the past both H/W & Driver related)

The Samsungs and Panasonics are both good. You should not have to change graphics card, just get a DVI to HDMI cable or adapter and run the sound supperately from a mini microphone jack.

The newer ATI cards are as good as any. I have been switching back and forth for years. They are both OK with me.

He's a non-techie though. They tend to pick a manufacturer and swear the other is poor due to past experience. If nVidia is his comfort zone then so be it.

Yeah, he had a Rage 3D Decelerator and tried again with a 9800 that did nothing but overheat. I don't think he'll touch another ATI card because of those two experiences. He doesn't buy much in the way of hardware.

I'm trying to help him play video from Hulu / Netflix and his kid plays WoW ;)
