I need to cut a 12" x 14" rectangle window with 1" radius filleted corners out of an 1/16" aluminum side panel. Should I use my bosch mag router, bosch variable speed jigsaw, or should I jsut try to find long lost dremel?
I'm not used to cutting metal, as I generally make a jig or template for cutting wood.
or will my carbide tip bits just get f'd up by cutting metal?
 
DREMEL + cut-off discs + sanding bands. just mask it off with masking tape, and cut from the inside, so if you slip, it isn't visible from the outside.

Jigsaw works too, but only if you can clamp the door down - aluminum is easily shaken when cut and you can make a lot of noise like that - my neighbors didn't like me doing that at 2am... :)
