Which to pick?

I was looking to get a new laptop and one of the main things (excluding the type of LCD) holding me back is the graphics card. I was looking at the MacBook Pro and Thinkpad W500 series. I was wondering which is better,

The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 512MB -> 9400M has 256 shared while 9600M GT has 512mb dedicated memory for graphics (Laptop comes installed with both)

OR

The ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 (512MB VRAM) with Intel AMT found on the Thinkpad.

Once again, thank you ganesh. I wondering any reason why the first one is good? Do not tell me it is because you are Mac fan, hahahaha (joking).

Um what are you going to be using your laptop for?

I think the mobile 5700 is really a HD 3650 with the driver and BIOS support. if you don't need a workstation card I would avoid it. (why pay for the extra)

The 9600M GT is something like a 9500GT, in other words its not good for much of anything other then purevideo (still nice to have on a notebook) but do you really want a mac given the limitations? and its not like your going to be able to play games. if your have some software your needing to run and its supported sure.
