ok, i'm building a new system, amd64 3200 venice core on asus a8n-e mobo with stock amd hsf for now.

i've got a cyringe of arctic silver 2 and ceramique. which would be best to use on this processor and my video card when i upgrade the cooling on it?

what would be a good replacement hsf for my cpu and video card(x800gto) that are decently quite.

thanks :)

As far as goop goes....use some toothpaste.

Just kidding, but either of those will do fine.

If you want quiet for the CPU

I have used quite a few of those for all kinds of Athlon 64 processors with great performance and little noise (mostly use them in Media Center builds).

As far as the video card.....couldnt tell you. I am an Nvidia guy and I cant recommend something I have never used.

that hsf looks nice, but i was thinking around the $30 price range or lower :)
