So, playing with OC the new rig in the signature..

using various apps as tools to check temps, volts etc.. I wonder.. which temp is the one I should watch ... A) is CPU temp or B) is the CPU Package

Most various HW watching apps..seem to have these various temps.. I'm not clear which is the most relevant?
 
Use the CPU core temps, as those are the temps reported by the on-die sensor. Something like CoreTemp or RealTemp is a lightweight way to monitor them.
