I just downloaded Speedfan, and it has these temps listed.

Temp1: 36C
Temp2: -48C
Temp3: 0C
Local: 34C
Remote: 56C
Temp: 1C

I'm guessing that Temp1 is my CPU and Remote is my case, but what are the others? Also are these good temperatures? Thanks.

Clearly Temp2, Temp3 and Temp are invalid, so don't even worry about those ones.

You forgot the most important information: What motherboard do you have?

Is there any kind of monitoring utility that comes with the Soltek? You could install that just to gather some "simple" temperature readings. For example, my Asus Probe program identifies two temps, one as CPU and the other as System. So when I installed SpeedFan, it was easy to figure out which was CPU and which was MB because I could compare to Asus Probe.

Another thing you could try: start Prime95 and watch your temps. One of them should go up pretty quickly 8-10 degrees. That's your CPU temp. System Temp might go up slightly, depending on how good the ventilation in your case is.

Hard to say if these temps are good or bad without knowing a little more about your system specs.
