Which system would you purchase?

Are you open to building your own rig instead?

Also, wrong sub-forum.

Neither. You can build your own system for a fraction of that price and just as fast or faster.

I wouldnt get that Powerspec pc. Once you fund something that doesn't support crossfire, its going to be a dog. Even wirh crossfire, those card aren't good for eyefinity due to low ram.

I know i'm better of building it myself but i don't have much experience with that. I want to purchase one by this weekend. Can someone suggest a system under 1,800?

Go over here and tell people what you want:

Just make it clear that you don't want to build your own PC, otherwise the first 15 posts will be people going "Omg you can build it yourself and save $300!"

Make sure you read the FAQ first as well:

With advice from forum members, if you are the least bit intelligent you'll be perfectly capable of building your own. A little bit of effort, reading, and questioning when necessary, you can save yourself an gigantic amount of cash.

+1 to this, most of us on this forum are pretty friendly and are willing to help explain all the steps needed to build a system. sure theres a few eggs out there that think they are better then everyone else and don't think they need to help but meh screw em.

its honestly not that hard to build a system. i mean heck i was able to explain it in 10 minutes to my roommate without having to actually do a single thing to help him and even he was able to figure it out. just to give you an idea, the guy had no idea what a reset button does on a computer nor where it was actually located on his old over priced pre-built system, so if he could figure it out i'm sure you would be able to.

3 keys to building a system the first time..
patience, common sense, and if you don't know where something goes ask some one.

Building your own machine is like playing with expensive legos really. It's really fun, and easy to do.

To the OP, my buddy was in a similar situation to you. Didn't have any experience building his own rigs, he normally let myself and another fellow build them for him.

This time(he just put a 2600k based system together) he did all of the installation. I was around for trying to get the system to boot(turns out MC sold him a board with bent pins, no socket cap, lol), and helped with the issues that arose. (Including diagnosing the mobo problem and urging him to return it :p)

However, if he hadn't had the mobo problem, he could've easily done it himself. It's a tad bit overwhelming @ first, but once you go through a build or watch someone build a PC, it's pretty simple stuff.

Google and Youtube my man. If you don't know, someone more than likely has videos to show you how. ;)
