Cant choose what to do with my money...( they both cost the same )

AMD Athlon64 3500 512k 130nm ( or 90nm...dont know how those are turning out )

The only thing keeping me from 939 is the fact that the motherboards are buggy most of the time, but its not like I upgrade my CPU every year, and when I do, I usually just buy a new mobo/ram/cpu. But 939 sounds cool :D And I probably wont have to spend more money upgrading in the future. BTW are there any *GOOD* 939 boards coming out in the next week or two?
 
Depends really, do you plan to upgrade just the CPU in the next 2 years or so? If not go with teh DFI setup. 1MB of cache will definitly boost performance big time. Mhz wise I'd take a slightly slower chip with more cache any day.

My two cents on this, there is NO guarantee 939 will still be around in 2 years. (Readies Flame shield). AMD stated they were going to keep 940 when they decided to drop the 754 platform and yet they're dropping it too. Intel dropped the 423 platform no more than two years after it was introduced for the 478 socket. Argue with facts, not me. :p
